My Love Remembered is my heartfelt reflection on growing up Catholic in Mississippi during the 1950's and 1960's. None of the names have been changed; everyone in the book is a real person who was, and probably still is, someone in our lives. The memoir is intentionally about our childhood but also tells some of the story up to present time. It is a memoir of simpler times, some parenting skills and the shenanigans of the six of us. This book would not be without the encouragement of my sister, Susan, and the undying devotion of one of my writing teachers, Sherry Anderson, who made this book happen. Everyone has a story inside of them but it took tremendous push and pull for me to complete this project. It's been a wonderful journey remembering, putting the feelings into words and recalling the love and hilarity of our lives. It's an easy read for all ages.
