This book is Fantasy Fiction with an Erotic flavour intended entirely for adults. It is not just an erotic story. I have done my best to make it a tale worth reading not only for the titillating bits, although these, I hope, are in sufficient number, variety and imaginativeness to please you. You do not have to have already dabbled in the erotic to enjoy it however, and although it draws upon 'interesting' current themes in eroticism it does not have any truck whatsoever with illicit sexual practices. Please note that all of our characters are imaginary (and sometimes even menagerie). Any resemblance to persons living or dead is entirely coincidental etc! If you wish to explore the ideas here further the ubiquitous Wikipedia will, if questioned, tell you lots of things about pony play. You might also view some of the 'furry' horse images on Deviantart and elsewhere. I have also fictionalised some historic characters whom I now have as Equitanian residents, you may wish to Wikipedia them as well.( I was tempted to include a pony called Elvis, but that would have been over-egging the pudding!) When I first conceived the idea of Equitania (on a Greek holiday) it came entirely from within, and I was rather astonished to find that much of what my mind had apparently thrown up quite independently was already established as a thriving 'alternative' community, in thought if not in deed. I hope for those of you already familiar with the possibilities of pony play that this story will tickle your fancy, may be even give you some new ideas. For those of you who favour the 'furry' community it should also have an appeal, but Equitania is, at the end of the day, a unique fantasy invention, and a visit there can be enjoyed by anyone with an open mind and a loving heart!
