Control is my memoir of mistakes, survival and facing my fears. I have lived a life with deepest, darkest traumas, terror, secrets and guilt. My birth as a replacement child is just the beginning of my tormented journey. At the age of three I witnessed my fathers death. What followed was a life of bad choices. Struggles with intimacy and sexual fulfillment invite domestic violence, abandonment and profound disappointment. As a career RN, I provided care and confidence to everyone but myself.
