Why should powerful people be spared for playing with someone?s emotions? Why old people have to land up in old homes? Why a girl child is still a subject of shame in this twenty first century in many countries? Should abortion be prohibited? Do we all take recourse to lying and deception at some point in our lives? The poet talks about a woman?s desire, her sanctity, her values, her pleasures, her debauchery, her pains; she narrates a lover?s woe that is misread and misjudged, his agonies, his guilt, his trials, his misfortune, his old age.
