Meet Sandin. He is a little boy who loves God with his whole heart. His outlook is pure, unhampered by fraudulent religiosity or by any hint of victimization. He is a child full of love and questions, and takes great joy in God's wonderful creation. He fills a niche in today's need for a good clean book series character with which to grow towards young adulthood. His little brother, Lodi, is a few years younger and somewhat full of mischief. I think he is a realistic foil for Sandin and very lovable.
