Publisher Marketing: Do all the children enjoy learning in School? May be not. Do most of the children enjoy learning in School? Well, probably. Do most of the children enjoy a treasure hunt? Most likely. Why is that they enjoy finding the treasure but not so much finding the knowledge? The main reason here is that they enjoy the process of finding the treasure as they have the ownership. The rules are set, they know the boundaries of the hunt, and they go through the process with the eagerness to be rewarded with the treasure. The hunt for knowledge should be taught to them in a similar fashion. We should provide them the ground rules, the boundaries and let them find the knowledge in their own way in order for them to enjoy the learning process itself and be rewarded with the knowledge that will stay with them and the end goal should not be the grade points or scores. Learning should be transformed from something that they "have to do" to something they "want to do." When they make this transformation, grade points and scores will automatically get better.
