With the assistance of an observant Marine, Jerry makes a unique discovery he wants to try out on the zombies they locked up for testing. He worries about bringing the damaged people back to health, only to find out they have a new epidemic. If cured, would there be thousands, if not millions, of brain dead but healthy people roaming the earth? Worse or better than flesh eating zombies? The care and feeding from millions to billions of Alzheimer type patients would be impossible to keep up. There would not be enough caregivers to do the job. At least, with the zombies, you know you have to kill them.
