Her family is originally from Chicago but she grew up partly in Nebraska and partly in Arizona. She has a BA in Anthropology from Texas A&M University and a MA in Anthropology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has a passion for the subjects of Chicago, Organized Crime, the FBI, designer shoes, and guns.
