This book is a story about home, the home that existed in reality and the home that existed in the mind and heart of a little boy growing up along Belleisle Bay, New Brunswick Canada. It covers more than a century from the late 1800's to the early 2000's. The stories tell of a simpler time. All stories have a seed of truth in them. Of particular interest is an invention by Haddon Jacob Shanklin in the 1920's to harness the tide of the Bayof Fundy for Electricity. The book contains many full color photographs and facsimile photos of the the Tidal Engine patents.
