Alicia Sharpton grew up in the state of Georgia. Although she will always be a Georgia Peach, she now calls Cottontown, TN her home. She is a wife of 37 years, mother of three and grandmother of three. Writing poetry since high school, Alicia bares her soul as she reveals the laughs, the pain, the tears, the unpredictable and the unbelievable events of her history. Loving, living and lasting through the accounts of her life, she exposes the raw emotion of the real life stories her journey entails. Alicia has served in ministry for 20 years. She has pastored youth and young adults leading them in youth camps, retreats, Bible studies, mission endeavors and individual counseling. This helped give her the knowledge and ability to move into adult ministry by pastoring and mentoring both women and men. Alicia served as Minister of Students and Drama Instructor for a local Christian School. She was also the director of a live-in home for women who were addicted to drugs and alcohol. Alicia's passion for people certainly warrants the call on her life!
