Love was to be shared between author Cindy Bowles and her husband Harold when he first saw her barrel racing at a rodeo. They soon became high school sweethearts and married young, going on to invest in the farming life and become parents to four children. However, their comfortable life took a disastrous turn when Harold became regularly fatigued and prone to angry outbursts. In her new autobiography, Hepatitis C, Never Give Up Hope; the cause of Harold's sickness was hepatitis C, which also fueled his diagnosis of Stage 4 cirrhosis. However, Cindy believed God could do the impossible and could be counted on for a miraculous recovery for Harold. Whether it was getting a needed liver transplant or daily strength to handle the ups and downs of the disease, her book reflects an understanding that to never give up on hope is to never give up on God.
