But packing twelve adult children and their families into one day of holiday fun proves to be less than joyful. So Mary has come up with the perfect plan. She will invite each child to come home, one day at a time, thus stretching out the holiday season and avoiding the chaos of a houseful of not-so-holiday cheer. With a plan like that, what could possibly go wrong? But day after day of her holiday plan leaves Mary scrambling to try to save the day. With a resilient attitude (and the support of her faithful husband) she somehow manages to survive all twelve days. If anything can go wrong, it will happen to Mary and Joseph Davis - and their tribe of twelve. Kitty Kaye grew up in a small town in southern Vermont. Having come from a family with six children, she knew the joys and struggles of being part of a large family. She has put her heart and soul into giving birth to the Davis family and the challenges they face. They find that what matters most in life is not the outcome, but rather the time and effort we give to show our loved ones how much we care.
