Who Told You That? Valerie M Grant

Valerie Grant is not your typical author of books for young children. Her desire to write books for young readers came while working with children who face a variety of social issues that are not addressed in a format appropriate for them in many of today's books.

In her first book, "Who Told You That?", Valerie addresses the fact that girls are just as capable as boys. In her other forthcoming books, Valerie will deal with topics ranging from the death of a loved one to coping with an incarcerated parent in hopes that these books will serve as conversation starters between parents, guardians and their children.
