Publisher Marketing: Growing up attending schools in Corpus Christi, and McAllen, Texas Luke Hustle frequently wondered, "What is wrong with me?" He was a mild-mannered teenager who started to notice a change in his person and becomes surrounded with a dilemma. His constant challenge was trying to determine the cause of his confusion, and demonic elements that gave birth to his vicious anger and animosity? Adding to his confusion was distinguishing between reality and imaginary. Luke felt insecure and some depression. He started drinking in high school. His weakness was his apprehension to brush off a domineering school girl friend and his distraction was listening, reading, and watching news concerning the Vietnam War. Advice from a couple of priests, and his vow motivated him to change. After he is discharged from the military he is warned that drinking is affecting his health. He vows not to fight or drink anymore. Luke decides to travel to California with his goal to change. There he does a fantastic job of warding off his craving for alcohol by becoming a roadie for an all-girl band handling the loading, unloading, and setting up instruments. Luke accomplishes his vow and learns the definition of "Love is in the air." His fantasizes about courting the leader of the band. She is a beautiful girl. His crush with her becomes reality resulting in unexpected surprise.
