An up close and personal look into the lives of 8 sweet souls rescued out of the thousands of Ukraine's street dog population. Written for all animal lovers young and old, but from a teacher's perspective, with the goal of putting a tool into the hands of educators and parents to promote compassion for animals in the next generation. 100% of all book royalties will go back into animal rescue in Kyiv, Ukraine and will help needy shelters make better conditions for the animals living there.
