The Water Grove Sanitarium has stood in the shadows of Avery for the better part of forty years. It has stood a testament of increment weather and more importantly, the test of time. For many years it was considered an outstanding psychiatric hospital devoted to the improvement of the human body. What was never known was the amount of discarded human flesh that would be funneled out through the many hidden passageways and dark tunnels that ran from the rear of the building. Despite the many wild speculations, it has survived solely on deceit and secrecy. This Journal was found buried with its corners seared and blackened, in the remains of the complex as police and fire officials combed the interior husk and surrounding gardens in a desperate search for a reason or suspect. This is the only account ever found, and to this day, it remains a mystery to the town of Avery as to why the Sanitarium disappeared almost overnight, despite the obvious fact that was pointed out, what the journal contained was only the lead up to its ultimate demise. What happened that night would, and forever, continues to mystify the country.
