His students have ranged in age from first grade to twelfth grade. He currently lives in northeastern Minnesota near the beautiful shores of Lake Superior where he works at the public library. He and his wife, Patti, enjoy Lake Superior, going camping and on motorcycle rides. Griffin is an active member of the Twelve Holy Apostles Orthodox Church where he sings in the choir and chants for Sunday morning matins. He has always enjoyed writing, and he has finally put his skills to the test with this great devotional, Observations: Life With God.
