Most of us have plans for how we want our lives to go. Many realize God has plans for our lives, too. And in the course of living our lives, we often find these plans aren't the same.

Karen Buford's Desire of the Heart: Beginnings is the story of Sierra Bradley. Newly discharged from the US Air Force, she is searching for her life's purpose. She quickly learns God has a plan for her life, too, and it is more than she could have ever hoped for, especially when it comes to youth pastor Grayson Raines. One might think that would bring her happiness and contentment, but accepting God's plan doesn't come easily. To accept God's purpose for her life, Sierra must first let go of her past and forgive herself and others. She must also embrace the fact she is unconditionally blessed.

At some point in our lives, many of us have had to forgive someone, including ourselves. Desire of the Heart: Beginnings shows this is not always an easy task. But it also shows what can happen when we do what's necessary to live out the plan and purpose God has created for our lives.
