Turner. a Cat's Story Keili Shillington

Turner is an unusual cat who through his psychic abilities, can drop into past lives and through his experiences gains perspective and understanding of his current one. Inspired by the traditional idea that cats have nine lives, the author explores the pattern of each life as the cat develops a heightened connection with the greater forces of the universe. Turner is a loner who abides by the cat code that bloodline means little; he?s streetwise, a risk taker and a survivor. Early on he manages to escape a dangerous encounter with his father while living in his first cat commune, but it is his bond with his mother that acts as his compass throughout his journey in life. She accompanies him in spirit wherever he goes. His adventures, both real and psychic, push the boundaries of his known world, and he is increasingly liberated by the intensity of each episode. In each of his past lives he lives through an incredible set of memories which he absorbs into his inner being, and hard-wires his senses to a greater force. He learns the fine art of survival along the way, and even if he is a loner, he is not alone. Other cats and people, join Turner as he treads a path that is eccentric as it is daring. Perfect for cat lovers, Turner?s journey draws on the human-cat connection in a fascinating story that transcends the physical experience to reach a broader level of world awareness. Turner. A Cat?s Story is a wild, thought-provoking ride that explores an enjoyable and challenging alternative to reality.
