Book 3 in the Click-Click series! After tectonic activity destroys the NT-3620b moon colony, the survivors escape to the Shared Research Facility after their own planet refuses to let them return home. Not only do the colonists have to confront what it means to be a refugee on someone else's world, they must also learn how to live in a natural environment on a real planet. Meanwhile, the humans working with them gradually accept the fact they too may never return home. The addictive nature of interacting with the off-worlders compels them to remain at the isolated research facility where they also struggle to build a new life. The reality of living together and the growing isolation from their respective worlds challenge both of them to acknowledge their lives are becoming much more interconnected than they had ever imagined.
