One can be in love with God-the creator, human beings, plants, animals, nature, self and his prized possessions and what not . . . A person who does not love himself cannot give love to others. Love is a supreme feeling that can raise a man's higher consciousness and he is ready to face the music of life. The filial love is incomparable. Love, care and concern of a mother for her child cannot be compared. In the poem 'A Mother's Love for Her New Born' the poet has tried to express the feelings of a mother when she holds her new born in her arms. She looks at the child and is jubilant and elated. The child is an embodiment of completeness and fulfillment. Giving, forgiving, caring, being generous, gentle, kind, tender and calm are all the attributes of love.
