TIME MARCHES ON has been designed to provide classroom teachers with motivational material that will fulfill the the students' needs and interests in learning clocks and telling time. A classroom environment which provides learning experiences in line with the developmental needs of today's children is essential before students are able to learn. The assignments in this book have several objectives: (1) recognition of even hour, (2) recognition of half hour, (3) recognition of quarter hour, (4) recognition of time to the minute. The basic format requires students to: (1) review directions, (2) complete the color key...this can be student elected or teacher assigned and (3) complete the design using the color key as a guide. The worksheets may be used with equal effectiveness in learning centers, individual instruction, small group, whole class and/or remedial instruction.
