This book primarily aims to contemporise poetry. Th e intention is to breathe new life into this genre and make it vital, dynamic, interesting and controversial again. None of the poems are long for this reason but there is usually a punch line in the fi nal line. Th is book is about making people think, dream, laugh, talk, discuss, share and feel. Th is book is dedicated to my late mother Beryl Norman-Cook who was a gentle warrior for justice. Th ank you for teaching me passive resistance. May you rest in the peace you could not fi nd here.
