A spiritual and historical journey written by a former Green Beret officer. Between the 1959 Tibetan uprising and Nixon's rapprochement with China in 1972, a little known front of the Cold War raged in the Himalayas. Clandestine agents from the CIA and MI6 led Tibetan warriors in battles with the People's Liberation Army on the roof of the world. This short novel brings this war into the light. With little communication with the outside world and no more than a shadow army, an operative disappears into a crumbling Buddhist empire.
