The Umbrella Initiative proposes gathering community resources, adding current university guidelines, and offering higher educational programming with specialized training. About the Author: Sheila Bitts is a graduate student of public health at American Public University/American Military University (APU/AMU). Her training is civilian with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Loyola University, Chicago. She has published a poetry book and a fiction novel.
