America on the Precipice: Practical Truths for Saving America Today Jeffrey P Gorman

Publisher Marketing: This is the book Big Government and Hollywood doesn't want you to read. With national debt in excess of our Gross Domestic Product the nation is in a major crisis point. Adding deficits of 1 trillion dollars per year has put a point of no return on the horizon. We need to turn on our heels and head in another direction, immediately! Congress and the government as a whole seem unwilling to recognize this fact and take steps to stop the coming disaster. Americans need to exercise some common sense and take action in our own lives and our own homes to reverse this trend, to fix the economic and moral mess this nation has become. People need to invest effort in turning our communities and neighborhoods around, to pay attention to what is going on around us and get involved. This book looks at various aspects of American life, stripping away the complexity and the politics and revealing a common sense look at the core issues. It puts forth ideas for corrections that fix the causes of the problems rather than continually bandaiding the symptoms... at great cost to the American people. Here, partisanship is bypassed by looking at the core facts, not the grandstanding political fluff and spin that dominates what passes for NEWS today. Complete with unique logical perspectives the media and pundits choose to ignore.
