Having lived in Kansas City all my life, born and raised in mid-town, my offerings of these short stories are the result of my reflections.

Removed from the struggle of fitting in, immune to competitiveness, past the stress of climbing the corporate ladder, finally rising above the frustrations of illness, dismay, loneliness...

Spending time with what I love, writing and sharing the simpler times in life, the impressions on my heart have meaning for me as I mature ? I journey through the last quarter of my life...mindful of the rich experiences that have led me to this moment.

A former VP from the banking industry, I find writing a therapeutic release. I am a member of the Kansas City Writer?s Group, Kansas Authors Club-District 2, The Writer?s Place of Kansas City and The Writer?s Colony located in Eureka Springs, AR. Recently, I became a member of an innovative ePublishing group, Write Brain Trust. Several articles and essays have been published in The Best Times, Good Old Days and the ?Kansas City Railway Historical Society? newsletter. My poems are included in the Tallgrass Poetry Anthology.
