A mysterious pair of gauntlets allow a young man to become a hero capable of vanquishing any foe, until he meets one so powerful that defeating it costs him his powers. Years later he learns that he wasn't quite as successful in that last battle as he thought, and must find a way to regain the strength it will take to defeat his enemies once and for all. At least he has that beautiful wife to support him through all this. But is she TOO beautiful?
