"Desert Twist" finds a man crossing a desert on an alien planet, desparately trying to get accross the desert before he is hunted down. He could never have anticipated discovering a long dead race, hiding in plain sight, but now, the knowledge is something he will have to live with...or not. The second story is about Travis, the average kid in the future, with a not so average dad. Travis knows his dad works for the government as a firearms consultant, but when he is killed and blamed for an assassination Travis is plunged into a world he never anticipated. Will he follow in his father's footsteps? Will he become "His Father's Son"?
