Publisher Marketing: Michael A Synopsis This brief may be best defined as the musings of an old and dying man. Born in Oklahoma as a result of a liaison between two dirt poor and naive young teenagers, whose families were scratching out an existence from the bowels of the Oklahoma territory, Michael had everything stacked against him from the very moment of his conception. Growing up as a young boy born into such poverty and circumstances, he was still loved and cared for by his very young and naive mother along with her five sisters, a loving grandfather and grandmother. He grew into the family, which was primarily a single mother who simply was incapable of living up to her role as a parent, and numerous men revolving in and out of his life as father figures. Challenges became increasingly abundant in Michael's life as he grew from puberty into a young man status, nearly totally void of a father's influence and guidance. Throughout the trials and tribulations, Michael came to realize how desperately he desired to not repeat the mistakes he knew his mother had made, and was still making, in her life. Only now, reflecting upon his many decisions, early in his life, was he able to reach a conclusion that many factors were guiding and influencing him. His determined and loving grandmother influenced him through her religious faith and upstanding life. His mother, simply by living her life outside the religious faith she was raised into, affected him simply because of their life, their poverty, and many facets of life that became ingrained as he grew into puberty and onward. To that end, he struck out on his own because of a love that came to his life, during the final year of high school and he wanted to make that love all his and make it right. Unfortunately an evil influence took over, through the grandfather of his love, once Michael struck out, and derailed the beautiful sweetness of young love. Thus the stage was set for the black widow, a woman possessed of such selfishness and conniving manipulation that Michael fell hook, line, sinker and nearly the rest of his life. Only dogged determination and knowledge that all was lost, rescued him from the jaws of the system and guided him to Wisconsin and a life of reclusion, self motivation and satisfaction. Memories are wondrous and beautiful things, for some as they reach toward the final stretch of their lives. The musings of Michael's mind reflects on his life, the life he will always wonder what could have been, the beauty of everything God has given us and of everything in between. The deer stand in quiet respect as the eagle gazes down upon the stillness of the cabin out in the Wisconsin wilderness, and of course, the huge crow flaps his wings and caws - I told you so, I told you so, as the Lord silently and peacefully reclaims that which is His.
