Henry Little Eagle Learns to Fly (Volume 1) W.m. Burrow

The adventure begins when a baby Mockingbird falls from his nest and hits the ground with a thump. He finds himself dazed and confused and wanders around looking for a way to get back up into the nest high in a tree. He tries to cross a road to an area where two little children are playing. Unable to do so, he is very hungry and hot when a nice man and his wife spot him in the grass near the road. The couple rescues little Henry and take him home to raise. The man and the little bird become great friends.
