A Hebridean community discovers the most iconic of Scottish artifacts -- the Stone of Destiny. Conspiracy to hide the Stone grows as more and more members of the community are drawn into the age-old tug of war between the autonomy of the Isles and the forces of crown bureaucracy. A tale of a community getting one-up on the system, the lass getting the lad, the downtrodden having at least a couple not-bad days, and New Agers getting a wee poke in the ribs.
