The Stevens Odyssse {The Journey} was a winner in the 2010 National Novel Writing Contest, it is the second in the series of two young boys and their adventures on a journey to find a lost spanish gold mine. While staying at a Plantation John falls in love with the daughter of the owner who he and William saved from some road bandits. After their wedding Marie insist that she go along, the boys ask Marie's brother if he would like to go and he says yes. The four young people start of on a journey that will last for three years, going north west to Shreveport La. and then west across Texas, through forest, over hills and across the plains on a trip of filled with excitement and danger.
