Josee's life is pretty normal. She goes to school, hangs out with friends, and bickers with her younger sister. What's not so normal is that the new kids at school are vampires. Living, breathing, blood-sucking vampires- and Josee's befriended them. Suddenly Josee finds herself surrounded by mythical creatures, their presence only adding to the usual complications of life: girl drama, boyfriends, falling in love. Before she knows it, she's dragged into a world she doesn't seem to belong to and a quest no one understands. Is it all chance that this happens to her, or is it fate? And what, she wonders, is Orbis?
