These Harsh Streets . . .
They could be the streets you grew up on. Maybe they?re the streets that you have so many fond memories about. I?m sure some of you wish you could forget them. They were your playground as you were growing up.
For me, I?d have to take a pinch of each and blend them all together.
This is my story. A naïve narrative from a Mr. Nobody.
I?m just one man. You all know me. I?m your best friend.
I?m your enemy. I?m your neighbour. It?s me, the quiet kid from school. You may know me as the person you most love to hate.
Then again I could be the person you depend on most.
Join me if you like and I?ll take you on the journey that is my life.
Hopefully we?ll laugh together. I?m sure we?ll cry together. I?ll open my arms and let you hug me. I?ll lift up my chin and take your best shot.
By the end of it you will know me better than anyone.
Just be fair when you judge me.
