In the early centuries, the church was exclusively responsible for the counseling of its people. However, in today's society there is a perception that the Christian community is not qualified to counsel its people. There is a belief we (the Christian community) do not have any solutions to human problems such as depression, anxiety, abnormal stress, etc. The truth of the matter is that no one is better qualified to counsel than those who know and understand man's unique position in God's plan. The goal of this book is to help God's people reach their full potential through temperament awareness and nouthetic counseling.
