One Being is the story of the amazing journey and spiritual awakening of a cynical TV news journalist named Glen Darrow. He is self-centered, vain, and materialistic, and has no time or use for the spiritual or mystical side of life. Suddenly his hedonistic lifestyle evaporates as his wife divorces him. Angry and embittered, he embarks on a merry-go-round of binge drinking and one-night stands. After quitting his job during an argument with his boss, he finds himself lonely, bewildered, and lost. A chance encounter with some Buddhist monks leads him to question his life. He decides to travel to India to search for the secret of personal happiness but finds much more. Guided by an Indian guru, he makes some amazing personal discoveries and gains some incredible insights. He gradually comes to the ultimate realization that we all someday must reach, that we are all one being.
