The Little Tree is for every child that ever lost a parent. In her first book author Rachel Feldman beautifully displays that something so little one does with a child can mean everything. This is her true story. Rachel's father passed away on the last day of school in second grade. She always looked to the tree (twig) that she and her father planted. The tree withstood all of the elements and adversity! People over the years even tried to tear it down. Today the tree stands strong as seen on the back cover of the book. This story is a true testament that shows the love a child yearns for from the loss of a parent can be found.
