The text is motivating believers to seek for Spiritual Graces in order to be fruitful and effective. "Fruitfulness" encourages us to develop ourselves in Christ Jesus. We are reminded that the fruit we produce must be seen by the growth in our lives and the changes which take place. It is not sufficient to only bear fruit. Rather, there must be evidence of spiritual development and accomplishments as a result.
