In A Siren's Tale, Tina paints the pages as you voyeur a group of ungodly gorgeous women who seem to live a fairytale-like existence beside a glistening river. In this moss-covered, colorful Eden, these enchanted creatures with choral-like voices are angels. Or are they? Born into this world, the sirens both seduce and arouse, shape shifting into a man's deepest fantasy of what is the ideal woman. In this other world, the sirens transform into flesh for fantasy. Yet, once under their spell, a man may become prey. Whether robbed of earthly possessions--or used solely for entertainment, the men later come to their senses, none the wiser, by the side of the road. And with no recollection. One of the local townsmen, Victor, has suffered a powerful hex and must crawl on all fours. The spell is cast and a nasty hag he has had an altercation with in a tavern, just may get the last laugh. He is paying for that particular night-maybe for the rest of his life. Cavorting with his cronies has earned him a reputation with the townspeople. Victor is seen as a rude, crude sloth and a slacker yet he has everything he wants or so he thinks, but there is only one way to end the spell. He must find true, pure love. One night by happenstance, Victor wanders the forest in his lupine state. Lost, he stumbles upon the siren sisters swimming and frolicking. He is bewitched from the old woman's spell but also now he's one dumbstruck animal. Frothing, he licks his chops at Siren Rose. Her breathtaking figure sears his eyes. Neither one is aware of the powers or curses that the other possesses, making for fresh twists and bitter turns that are carefully crafted by Tina. When the two meet as magical beings, a reader plunges deeper into their world. This is a tale of lives in precarious balance in a curious land.
