In his younger days, he was one of the quickest humans I ever saw. We lived on the same street and played ball in Andy's backyard. East Lake in the 1960s. The bases seemed so far apart in our young eyes. Andy lost his best friend and brother to a motorcycle accident many years ago, and he lost his Dad to natural causes in 2004. He has seen life's highs and lows, and you will be touched by his insights. Through adult eyes, the bases seem so close together. Genuine and funny short poems by a genuine and regular guy.
