An uplifting, shocking, slick and provocative story about a father and daughter who are both personally intertwined in a menace that has struck Washington, D. C. The father, Police Chief Michael Hill, is mourning the loss of his slain wife and is hated by his daughter, La'ryn, because she feels her mother's death was his fault. To make matters worse, cop killers have recently started killing D. C. cops and stealing their badges. Michael's spotless image is being destroyed by the murders and the Mayor is now threatening his position. La'ryn has befriended a new girl at her school who is from the other side of the tracks and has a secret involving the cop killers who are bringing the city's police force to its knees. Gradually, La'ryn's life terribly changes because of her new friend. Michael now has two serious problems he must resolve quickly: hunting down the cop killers and saving his daughter's life.
