Eighty million people in the USA deal with chronic pain on a daily basis, causing loss of work productivity,depression, loss of every day enjoyment; including time spent with loved ones, and an overall lack of interest in life. This book chronicles the difficulty in dealing with the medical community in regards to the use (or sometimes misuse) of pain medication. Times are changing, but not quickly enough to combat the number one symptom we seek out medical help. PAIN!
