Something is wrong with 10 year old Kane. Very wrong. The new school principal wants to find out what. The problem is anyone who speaks of Kane begins to die immediately. The faculty and staff warn him that whoever interferes with Kane's life is visited by the Shadow Men with death as the greeting. Principal Kinner decides to interfere anyway. He must use all of his love, faith and determination to to find out why Kane is in danger even if it means facing hell itself. If he fails no one will ever know why Kane is The Chosen.
