Poetry by Uncle Sam For UNCLE SAM S a m i M. E l - S o u d a n i ?Poetry by Uncle Sam for Uncle Sam? is talk of the hearts that care about the future they share. This book of poetry is aimed at awakening the people of the United States of America: A great nation in sedation, presently subjugated to the point of being captive by its home-grown military-industrial-media complex, which is dedicated to the service of special interest groups and personally profiteering war advocates. In a poetic message the author is sounding an alarm, long overdue, that America?s sword is being turned, slowly but surely upon its own people, as America?s preemptive war escapade has already been set in motion, wreaking havoc in the world at large, and unleashing the dogs of war, skillfully trained by wicked war kindlers. This war is given the misnomer title of ?war on terror,? but in reality it is being waged with a mindset aimed at capturing Islam, as ?a clashing culture? as prescribed in a recipe for World War III per Samuel P. Huntington. With such a mindset, Islam is regarded as ?a threatening warring civilization,? just another buzzword title, with both references being as bogus as a witch?s broom. In fact the real trophy behind the capture of Islam is the oil rush, whereby numerous Islamic oil-rich nation states and protectorates are brought under close control as private pumping stations for hegemonic Western Superpowers, with oil proceeds for the most part being seized by war profiteering enterprises. In the United States of America in particular, those individuals in public service with such a conflict of interest, coupled with the ruthlessness to ban liberties to others, are using a two-edged sword that is turning our fear of terror into terror of fear and horror, and now that sword is slicing through the United States Constitution. With the United States foreign policy narrowly focused on oil profiteering and on Israel?s endless real estate grab, America?s democracy is becoming the latest casualty of its political autism and detachment from global economic reality in facing an annual trade imbalance or deficit of one trillion dollars, and growing, as the Asian economic challenge is now outselling North America by a factor of four-to-one in both the automotive and steel heavy industries, as well as in other peace-oriented commodity trades.
