Joy Comes in the Morning was written for anyone who has ever experienced a loss. During the journey of writing this book, I truly began to understand how there could be joy in the mourning. I had suffered so much loss in my life that I just knew that this was how my life was going to be. Forever. Years of suppressing and ignoring the pain led to major depression, anxiety, panic disorders, bad relationships, a bad marriage, alcoholism, along with a lot of physical aches and pain. I don't think that I am any different from anyone who will read these pages. I know that what you read will empower you to decide to face your own losses, grieve for them, bury them, and then heal from them.
