Miami Model doesn't refer to the slue of girls who flock to Miami Beach in search of agents and all night partying often called networking. Regrettably, "Miami Model" is a method of policing that took place in November 2003. U. S. citizens' First, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights were suspended for ten days. Several chapters vividly recap my appalling experience being wrongfully profiled a protester resulting in three arrests. The sadistic abuse was all approved by the Department of Homeland Security. In November 2007-Plata v the City of Miami Beach et alwas filed challenging the excessive violence I endured and unethical suspension of federal laws that took place. Several similar lawsuits (involving the FTAA in Miami, 2003) have been settled to date, amounting in almost 1-million dollars. The FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) police presence turned Miami unrecognizable and uninhabitable. This suspenseful and controversial personal story is an accurate, eye-opening journey into several corrupt workings of the U. S. government that entices change and promotes a movement in search of truth and justice.
