For Love Alone Sabdale

For Love Alone is Sabdale's first novel, which is set in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. It is the story of a young man, Kadeem, whose journey from the islands of the Bahamas to the United States takes him on a path where he learns to face his fears and become vulnerable to love. Kadeem dreams of finding love, but recognizes that the ego must ultimately die. It is on this journey that he learns true love can only thrive when both love and the lover are on the same page and not in conflict with ego-tripping behaviors. Through these lessons, he learned the greatest the lesson of all, that of unconditional self-love.
