Detective Aaron James is probably one of the most dedicated narcotics cops on the Chicago police force. But being so dedicated has its own problems, especially at home. As his last raid in narcotics goes sour, he comes home to find that his wife and kids have left him. While coping with the loss of his family, the transition to his new precinct and department brings its own set of problems. But in a strange twist of fate Aaron's first case leads him to investigate his last raid and the old case of his younger brother. But as the stress from his personal life and the case begins to take its toll, all Aaron can hope for is to solve this case before it's his end.
