This is a must read for children and adults. It is something when as parents our indiscretions and our issues can take a turn and become our children's problems and setbacks. That is exactly what happened to 14 year old Marlee Jacob whose having to care for herself and her 3 younger siblings after being evicted due to her mother's alcohol and crack addiction. While in the midst of being homeless and roaming the streets the Jacob children are befriended by an elderly homeless woman named Miss Ethel who care for the children and teach them how to survive while keeping the faith. While in the care of Miss Ethel the children are now faced with another setback, The Department of Child Protective Services intervene and take the children. There the children are now being exposed to growing up to fast, peer pressure along with mental and emotional instability. In the meantime their mother Madelon succumbs to the pressures of her addictions, belittling herself for her next fix. Fortunately for Madelon being arrested for prostitution sets the stage for life changing events to occur. What will happen to the Jacob children? What will Madelon's setbacks force her to face? And what has happened to Miss Ethel? Just know that God knows all and sees all. He will not put on you more than you can bear. He is those footsteps that you see in the sand when there is only one set you see, and there are two of you walking. For he always has that Ram in the bush. Please keep reading for an explosive turn of events.
